Visual Arts
Nasrin started her painting from Iran as a hobby. After migrating
to Australia she found out about the importance of practicing visual
art among migrant artists, particularly those from non-English
speaking background through vast research and extensive works with
culturally and linguistically diverse background.
She has delivered theory in relation to using linguistic language
for self-expression as well as initiating community art projects to
highlighted visual language as a tool of communication between the
artist and the viewers.

Since 1996 Nasrin joined the visual art field seriously. She participated
in six group local exhibitions, and formed a group of local artists,
designed community visual arts projects as well as practicing art as
her main artwork.
Nasrin’s works highlight her bicultural aspect of her character and
to-date is divided into four chapters.
